I am the founder of Zema Media LLC, an independent production company specializing in talent-led and brand-focused video and audio podcasts.

I have over a decade of experience in the industry, bridging the gap between high-level editorial strategy and technical execution within fast-paced media environments. My work has garnered multiple awards (Webby, Signal, iHeart Podcasts) and captured the #1 position on the Apple Podcast charts.

I was previously Senior Producer at Lemonada Media, where I was among the founding employees. While there, I developed and launched several shows each year, collaborating with top talent, including David Duchovny, Jennette McCurdy, Sarah Silverman, Emily Deschanel, and many more.

My career began as a Sound Designer and Engineer at WNYC Studios and Spotify/Gimlet before I transitioned into producer and management roles.

I write Making Podcasts, a weekly newsletter dedicated to the craft and profession of podcasting.

  • I led Lemonada’s transition from audio-only to a visual-first digital strategy, overseeing the production of high-impact video slates that reached over 17M YouTube views and 275K subscribers across channels.

  • I’ve developed dozens of shows from initial concept through launch and into a regular cadence. The key is collaborating with hosts, production teams, and stakeholders to implement scalable, repeatable workflows, while balancing the unique voices of high-profile talent and brand identity.

  • I believe there is no longer a distinction between the act of creating and the act of connecting with viewers. Producers must analyze and respond to real-time data in order to drive engagement and retention. I’m an expert in growth strategies across short-form and long-form content, navigating the ever-shifting social media landscape, and utilizing platform-specific tools to reach audiences.

  • I take pride in leading teams. I’ve spent years managing and mentoring a diverse group of producers, editors, and engineers. When holding the final editorial oversight, I ensure all content meets creative and technical standards.
